4 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber has tested positive for COVID-19, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports. Bieber reportedly experienced mild symptoms following his positive test and is a late arrival to camp as a result. However, the president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti was hopeful that the right-hander will be able to join the team at spring training in the coming days. Bieber is surely to be one of the top starting pitchers drafted in most leagues this year. He led the majors in K-BB rate at 34% and held opponents to a .167 average. He's a stud.
