4 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber earned the win during Friday's 2-0 victory over the Royals. He tossed six scoreless innings, giving up four hits and one walk while fanning 14. Bieber had a strong sophomore season in 2019, with a 3.28 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 10.9K/9 across 214.1 innings. He appears to picking up right where he left off after this stellar performance. He will try to continue to build momentum in his next scheduled start, which lines up on July 29th at home against the White Sox. Bieber has quickly elevated his game to ace level status, and owners should be salivating at Friday night's performance. He's a must-start every time he takes the mound at this point.--James Stokke
