2 years agoThe Cleveland Guardians could be daydreaming about the haul that starting pitcher Shane Bieber could fetch on the trade market after the Cincinnati Reds acquired three of the Seattle Mariners' top five prospects for right-hander Luis Castillo last week. However, it's highly unlikely that Bieber is moved this summer at this point. The Guardians inquired about Castillo before he was traded to Seattle. The Reds could also trade infielder Brandon Drury and starting pitcher Tyler Mahle before Tuesday's deadline. Bieber, meanwhile, is having another solid year in 2022, going 5-6 with a 3.41 ERA a 1.14 WHIP, 118 strikeouts and 28 walks in 118 2/3 innings over 19 starts for the Guardians.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
