Shane Bieber Will Make Rehab Appearance Tuesday

3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber (shoulder) will make a rehab appearance with Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday, according to Joe Noga of Cleveland.com. Bieber is scheduled to pitch two to three innings in the appearance as he'll be making his first return to game action since mid-June. He's been out due to a strained subscapularis muscle in his right shoulder, and despite his extended absence, Noga reports that Bieber is on track to make at least one start for Cleveland before the end of the season barring any setbacks. Bieber was 7-4 with a 3.28 ERA and 1.246 WHIP over 90 2/3 innings of work this year, and while it will be nice to have him make a return before the end of the year, it's very unlikely he'll have much of an impact in fantasy.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
