6 years agoDetroit Tigers closer Shane Greene appeared in both games of Friday's doubleheader with the Kansas City Royals. He pitched effectively in the first game, but blew the save in the second game as the Tigers split. As a result of his work Friday, he's unavailable out of the bullpen on Saturday. Joe Jimenez will be the closer for Saturday if needed. Greene has now blown two saves in his last three chances. Jimenez, meanwhile, has yet to allow an earned run in 8 2/3 innings of work on the year.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
