7 years agoDetroit Tigers closer Shane Greene earned his second save of the year on Sunday in a 1-0 victory over the White Sox. Greene's first outing of the year was shaky, allowing three runs (two earned) in just two-thirds of an inning in relief. But since then, he has turned in three consecutive scoreless outings and has now earned saves in back-to-back appearances. He won't get as many chances as some other closers simply because of who he plays for, but he has an electric slider and a career 8.23 K/9 to go with a stingy 0 .9 HR/9 throughout his career. He's worth owning in most leagues.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
