4 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Shane McClanahan earned his first career win on Saturday, striking out seven batters over 5 1/3 innings in a 12-5 win over the Mets. McClanahan allowed four runs on six hits and one walk, as he pitched five full innings for the first time this season. He's recorded at least five strikeouts in each appearance this year, and now owns a 30.6 percent strikeout rate over 17 1/3 innings of work. McClanahan is looking like a solid rookie pitcher to roster in fantasy, and is currently rostered in only 33 percent of leagues.
