7 years agoDenver Broncos linebacker Shane Ray (wrist) did not end up having surgery on his wrist over the summer, as his doctor didn't think it was necessary, according to sources. Ray's timetable for a return is now much quicker than expected. It means he could be ready for the start of the regular season, but it's not a lock for that to happen. Ray disappointed last year with one sack in just eight games played after recording eight in 2016. The Broncos declined his fifth-year option, so he'll need to step it up if he wants to stick around. That might be difficult with rookie defensive end Bradley Chubb taking over as the main pass rusher opposite Von Miller.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
