7 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Shane Vereen (hand) will be placed on Injured Reserve, according to a source. Vereen apparently injured his hand in the preseason finale, and it's serious enough to put him on the IR. A former second-round pick by the Patriots in 2011, Vereen didn't do much in his three years with the Giants and accumulated 45 attempts for 164 yards (3.6 yards per carry) and no touchdowns for New York in 2017.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
