3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that pass-rusher Shaq Barrett (knee) has a sprained MCL and ACL and will miss the next two games, but the team is hoping that he'll be back for the playoffs. Combined with the injury to Lavonte David, the Tampa defense will be missing two of their star linebackers for the remainder of the regular season. Fantasy managers in IDP leagues will also be without Barrett and David the rest of the way. Barrett, a Pro Bowler for the second time in his career in 2021, will finish the 2021 regular season with 51 tackles (37 solo), nine tackles for loss, 22 QB hits, one interception, four passes defensed, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 10 sacks in 15 games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
