6 years agoCincinnati Reds second base prospect Shed Long is stuckk in a 7-for-34 slump for Double-A Pensacola. Long moved up to Double-A in 2017 and struggled in 42 games with a .227 batting average. Long has improved in 2018 with a .259 batting average with six home runs and 23 RBI. The Reds already have second base secure with Scooter Gennett and Long is unlikely to debut in 2018. Long is a watch-list candidate in dynasty leagues, as he is projected to hit 10 to 15 home runs at the second base position at the next level.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
