3 years agoSeattle Mariners utility man Shed Long Jr. went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Sunday, a long shot to right field off Texas Rangers starter Mike Foltynewicz. It was his fourth homer of the year. Long Jr. has been starting most games since returning from the injured list on June 8, and spending most of his time batting in the ninth spot of the lineup. He offers a little pop and a little speed, but his .209/.243/.463 slash line leaves plenty to be desired and he doesn't belong on fantasy rosters.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
