6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 7-5 setback against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has now hit safely in seven consecutive games, matching a season high for any Rangers player. Shortstop Elvis Andrus also hit safely in seven straight from April 7-16. Choo is 12-for-31 (.387) with a double, three homers and five RBI during the impressive run, raising his average from .304 to .330 just since April 24. Even at 36, he remains a strong fantasy play in AL-only leagues and some mixed formats.--Daniel Dobish
