4 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is missing from the club’s starting nine again Thursday against Arizona and left-hander Alex Young. Manager Joe Maddon said that Ohtani would not return to the starting lineup until Saturday when the Angels are slated to face righty Lance Lynn. Ohtani’s massive struggles (.211 SLG, .515 OPS) against lefties have essentially turned him into a platoon player over the final week-plus. With his price tag in DFS still hovering above where his production has lied, he has a difficult path to being rostered in either that market or season-long formats for the remainder of 2020.--Jesse Borek
