6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani has been cleared to begin hitting immediately. He will be re-evaluated in three weeks for a better prognosis for when he will return to the mound. Ohtani is expected to be back in the lineup at DH soon. This will push Albert Pujols into full-time duty at first base, with Luis Valbuena remaining the full-time third baseman in Zack Cozart's absence. Ohtani owners will want to get him into their lineups as soon as possible.--patton
