4 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (blister) could return to the mound on Tuesday, according to The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya. Ohtani has been dealing with a reoccurrence of a blister issue that popped up in Spring Training, and has not pitched since his start against the White Sox on April 4. He had tossed a light bullpen session last week, and was feeling good after a more rigorous session on Saturday. Manager Joe Maddon said it's "a possibility" that Ohtani could be cleared to make the start on Tuesday against the Rangers.
