Shohei Ohtani Dazzles On The Mound
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (6-1) was brilliant in Wednesday's 2-1 victory against the Texas Rangers. Ohtani went six innings, struck out six, walked none, and allowed one run on four hits. He now has a 2.93 ERA with a 29.9 K% and a 10.2 BB% but has only walked one batter in his last 26 IP. It was his first start since he experienced thumb soreness last week and hasn't pitched since July 26. He remains a must-start in all formats, helping with a low ERA and high strikeout numbers. However, as of now, the Angels are using a six-man rotation, and thus Ohtani will continue to start less frequently than fantasy managers would hope.
