6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in the Angels 8-7 loss Monday to the Rangers. Ohtani has really turned it on recently, slashing .444/.483/.778 over his last seven games and now is slashing .344/.385/.541 in the month of August. Fantasy owners certainly are sad to not be able to use Ohtani as both hitter and pitcher this season but the 25-year-old has proven to doubters that he can hit at the major league level. He certainly has entertained the home crowd, slashing .305/.372/.563 in 42 home games with 10 home runs. Ohtani can help fantasy rosters down the stretch.--Joey C - RotoBaller
