6 years agoLos Angeles Angels manager Mike Scioscia announced Saturday that he expects Shohei Ohtani to start one of their four upcoming road games against the Tigers. Ohtani has not pitched since Sunday. He had his start this week pushed, so the Angels could better manage his innings. The 23-year old has pitched less than 200 innings combined over his past two seasons in Japan, so the Angels are erring on the side of caution to not overwork the future ace of their franchise. Ohtani is still expected to receive regular at-bats on days off in between starts, so he is still going to produce for fantasy one way or another throughout the season.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
