Shohei Ohtani Has Rare Poor Start Wednesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani had an ugly outing on Wednesday, pitching five innings, allowing four runs with seven strikeouts and no walks. The day didn't start well, as he surrendered two long balls in the first inning, and he gave up another in the fourth. He was unable to help out with the bat either, taking an 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. He's been a consistent starter all season, posting a 3.00 ERA with a 1.06 WHIP and a 29.9 K%. Fantasy managers should look past the blunder and expect Ohtani to be himself again in his next start against the New York Yankees.
