6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is in the midst of his first slump of the season heading into Monday's action. Ohtani is 11-for-48 (.229) over his last 15 games, posting only a .354 slugging percentage during that span. Ohtani is still recovering from Tommy John surgery so he is relegated to DH duties only this season. He enjoyed a fantastic month of June, slashing .340/.379/.713 with six doubles, nine home runs and 22 runs batted in spanning 94 at-bats. Ohtani is a highly talented hitter and should snap out of it sometime soon.--Joey C - RotoBaller
