2 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani had a huge game on Tuesday in the 12-11 extra-inning loss to the Kansas City Royals, going 3-for-4 with two home runs, two runs scored and a career-high eight RBI. The two-way star is hitting .288 (21-for-73) with four home runs, 13 RBI and 10 runs scored in 19 games in June to raise his season slash line to .260/.331/.489. Ohtani has an .820 OPS, 15 long balls, 45 RBI, 44 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 293 plate appearances, and the 27-year-old remains a must-start as both a hitter and a pitcher. He'll take the mound on Wednesday against the Royals.
