Shohei Ohtani Impresses On Monday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (5-1) was at his best on the mound during Monday night's 6-2 victory against the Colorado Rockies. He pitched seven innings, collected five strikeouts while giving up one run, one home run, and no base on balls. He also picked up a single, scored once, drove in a run, and stole a base in four at-bats. It was one of his best starts of the season and was his third in a row allowing one walk or less. Not only has Ohtani been phenomenal with the bat, but he's been tremendous as a pitcher as well. He's pitched to a 3.04 ERA, 30.1 K%, 10.8 BB%, and has surrendered 7 HRs in 80 innings. Ohtani continues to be a must-start in all leagues, and there are no signs of that changing anytime soon.
