7 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Shohei Ohtani (ankle) plans to throw a light bullpen on Wednesday. He will need to throw another one before getting back on the mound, which means his next start is most likely going to be Sunday against the Mariners. Ohtani is recovering from a light ankle sprain but looks to be ready to go soon. He is in the lineup Wednesday, hitting fifth as the designated hitter. He will likely keep hitting through Friday. Starting him on Sunday against the M's may be a little more risky than usual with some extra time off.--patton
