4 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher/outfielder Shohei Ohtani (finger) is listed as the team's probable starter for Tuesday's game against the Rangers. Ohtani hasn't pitched since April 4 as he continues to deal with a blister on his finger. Manager Joe Maddon seemed to indicate that the two-way star would make his return after a more game-like throwing session this past week- and the team is planning on having him pitch against Texas. Ohtani was a bit wild in his first start but flashed his strikeout upside. It's a great matchup, as the Rangers have posted the third-worst strikeout rate in the majors so far.--Tim Capurso
