One night after Ohtani went 3-for-4 with one stolen base in a 6-1 win, the second-year player will get the day off. Ohtani came into the game stuck in a 2-for-20 slump but hit the ball sharply and will finish the month of July slashing .277/.358/.458 over his last 83 at-bats.
