3 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (groin) is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Chicago White Sox. Ohtani left the game early on Sunday against the White Sox with right groin tightness. He was optimistic that he'd play on Monday, but the Angels aren't taking any chances with the two-way superstar, especially since he's scheduled to make his next start on the mound on Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox. There's a good chance the 27-year-old will be back on Tuesday, but fantasy managers need to remove him from their lineups for Monday's contest. Mike Trout will serve as the DH and hit third on Monday against White Sox right-hander Dylan Cease, while Brandon Marsh will play center field and bat second.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
