3 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter/starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani walked three times in four plate appearances while scoring once during Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Houston Astros. He's now walked seven times in his last 10 plate appearances and is hitting .280 with a .486 OBP over his last eight games. Overall, he's slashing .255/.364/.589 with 45 HRs, 95 RBI, 96 runs, and 24 SBs across 149 games. However, since the All-Star break, he's slugged just .433 with 12 HRs. He'll continue to DH the rest of the season but isn't guaranteed to make his last start on Sunday against the Seattle Mariners. He's started 22 games this season and has a 3.28 ERA with a 28.9 K%. Fantasy managers should stay updated, as he's a must-start if he does face the lowly Mariners lineup.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
