6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-5 in his hitting debut, singling in his first ever big league at-bat. The Angels have indicated that they want Ohtani to DH a handful of times per week when he is not pitching. Despite Ohtani's poor (4-for-30) hitting this spring, that still appears to be the plan. Ohtani is expected to pitch for the first time on Sunday. He carries much more fantasy value as a hurler rather than a hitter.--patton
