5 years agoLos Angeles Angels two-way sensation Shohei Ohtani (elbow) continued to progress in his rehabilitation from Tommy John surgery 11 months ago, throwing a 35-pitch bullpen before the Angels game on Saturday. Ohtani ramped up his intensity in this latest session, throwing fastballs, sliders and curveballs without incident. Manager Brad Ausmus described the pitching as "free and easy" and Ohtani remains on track to return to pitching next spring on his normal schedule.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
