3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Shohei Ohtani (thumb) threw a bullpen session on Monday, Jeff Fletcher of the Southern California News Group reported. Angels manager Joe Maddon said Ohtani could potentially start on Wednesday against the Texas Rangers if he feels good after the bullpen session. The 27-year-old ace has been dealing with a sore thumb since being hit by a foul ball while in the dugout on July 28.
