7 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow) threw a bullpen session on Wednesday with hitters in the box. He's expected to return to San Diego to join the team for the game Wednesday, but he won't be starting. Ohtani continues to make progress in rejoining the rotation, but he's running out of time to make a fantasy impact on the mound for fantasy owners. He continues to serve as a DH at times, too, mainly against right-handed pitchers, but he's much more valuable to a fantasy owner on the bump. Keep him stashed as a pitcher and hope he can make some noise in a handful of starts next month.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
