7 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (elbow) threw 20 fastballs during a light bullpen session on Saturday, and manager Mike Scioscia said the Japanese righty will likely face hitters in his next workout in Arizona. Ohtani is slowly making progress from a partially torn UCL in his right elbow, and it's not a sure thing yet that he'll return next month to the rotation. He's much more valuable in fantasy on the mound, so keep him stashed if you have the room as a pitcher.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
