3 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby has tested positive for COVID-19 and is set to miss multiple games because he's experiencing symptoms of the virus. Players with symptoms have to isolate for 10 days, meaning Crosby can't be back in action until at least next weekend. The Penguins will have four games over the next 10 days, starting with Thursday's matchup against Philadelphia. Defenseman Brian Dumoulin has also tested positive but is asymptomatic, which means he can return to action after two negative tests that are 24 hours apart. Fellow blueliners Chad Ruhwedel and Marcus Pettersson are also in the COVID-19 protocol. Crosby had just made his season debut at the weekend before falling ill. It wasn't a night to remember, as Pittsburgh got picked apart by New Jersey and Crosby ended the game with a minus-three rating.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
