3 years agoThere's a strong chance that quarterback Sam Darnold is the Carolina Panthers starting quarterback in 2022 after the team's failed attempt to trade for Deshaun Watson. Darnold was a failure in his first season in Carolina, throwing nine touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 12 games while going 4-7 in 11 starts before an injury ended his season. The Panthers will add another QB at some point, but as things stand now, Darnold is the projected starter, with P.J. Walker the only other signal-caller on the roster. There is belief that new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo can help Darnold, but fantasy managers probably won't want anything to do with Darnold, even as a low-end QB2 next season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
