4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez (shoulder) has been cleared to resume throwing in his rehab program. Sanchez has yet to pitch this year after starting the season on the injured list with a shoulder issue. There was some mystery surrounding why Sixto was shut down last week with rumors about his conditioning popping up, but nothing was confirmed. The Marlins front office was very tight-lipped about Sanchez, only referring to his shoulder ailment. Some Marlins reporters may have gotten ahead of themselves in predicting that Sixto would not pitch again this season, but there is clearly something going on with the rookie hurler besides his shoulder injury.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
