3 years agoMiami Marlins pitcher Sixto Sanchez (shoulder) is taking longer than expected to recover from July shoulder surgery and is not expected back until midseason. According to Jon Heyman of the MLB Network, he doesn't have a new injury, but it's taken a bit longer than initially hoped to return from shoulder surgery done in July. Then 23-year-old is unable to rehab with the team trainers, and his unavailability won't make much difference for the Marlins until the MLB lockout ends. The right-hander showed promise in 2020, posting a 3.46 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and a 33:11 K: BB over 39 innings. Sanchez missed all of the 2021 season, and his value takes a massive hit in 2022 redraft leagues.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
