4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez (shoulder) has progressed in his rehab and is now throwing from 75 feet. Sanchez was progressing nicely through his rehab earlier this season but then was somewhat mysteriously shut down and had to take a few steps back. The good news is he did move from 60 feet to 75 feet more quickly this time around, but there's clearly no way to predict when Sanchez will be able to join the Marlins. When Sixto was first shut down, some beat reporters guessed that he may not even throw again this season, but at least that has already been disproven. Sanchez will be a huge boost to the Marlins rotation if he can get back on the mound down the stretch.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
