Skyy Moore Fills A Need For Chiefs At No. 54
3 years agoThe Chiefs took wide receiver Skyy Moore with the No. 54 pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. After Kansas City opted to focus on the defensive end on Thursday night, the club waited until the second round to reload on offense by taking Moore. The Western Michigan product, who finished the 2021 season by catching 95 balls for 1,295 yards and 10 touchdowns, is a player who arguably could have been selected earlier. However, with a plethora of wideouts going before the 21-year-old, he will now be paired with Patrick Mahomes, who will be looking for help after Tyreek Hill was traded to Miami. Moore likely won't be a week-to-week fantasy option, but managers shouldn't be surprised if he has more than a few productive outings in 2022-23.
