3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray tossed a gem in a 6-2 win over the New York Mets on Friday. Gray allowed one run over six innings of work while striking out seven and walking one. He scattered five hits in the start, four of which were singles. Gray needed that outing as he was coming off two straight rough starts, which saw him give up 13 earned runs over eight innings. Overall, the veteran right-hander has been solid this season, posting a 3-6 record, 4.26 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 96 strikeouts in 76 innings of work. Gray will face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates next.--Matt T - RotoBaller
