Sonny Gray Allows Just One Run in Win
5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray was excellent in a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday. Gray allowed just one run over six innings while striking out seven. Despite his strong outing, Gray had to settle for a no-decision in the eventual win. Gray has been a fantastic fantasy pitcher for the Reds this season, posting a 10-6 record, 2.75 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 181 strikeouts in 157 1/3 innings of work. He will remain a must-start in his next outing, which will come on Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners.
