4 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Sonny Gray (back) is expected to make his season debut sometime next week, according to The Athletic's C. Trent Rosencrans. Manager David Bell said "it was a good day" for Gray, who pitched a simulated game on Saturday, who has been out since April 14 due to back spasms. Gray will look to build off a successful 2020 campaign, where he went 5-3 with a 3.70 ERA and 72 strikeouts in 56 innings. The Reds are scheduled to take on the Diamondbacks and Cardinals next week, and as of now it's not known where Gray would slot in, his value in fantasy would be greater if he gets the nod against Arizona instead of St. Louis.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
