7 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Sonny Gray (thumb) "fully expects" to make his next start next week against the Orioles after being hit by a comebacker on his thumb Thursday. However, he's still waiting to take X-rays. Gray went only five innings but picked up the win against the Royals on Thursday, striking out five, walking two and allowing no earned runs. He's been great in his last three starts against weak opponents, but he should be rolled out there again if he's able to start next week against the last-place O's.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
