Sonny Gray Impressive At Coors Field
5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray was excellent in a 3-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Friday. The veteran right-hander allowed just one run over seven innings while racking up nine strikeouts and walking three. It goes down as yet another impressive performance as Gray was able to tame the Rockies in notorious hitter-friendly Coors Field. Gray is enjoying a resurgent season with the Reds, posting a 5-5 record, 3.42 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 112 strikeouts in 97 1/3 innings of work. Keep him in starting lineups for his next start, which will be against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday.
