Sonny Gray Improves To 3-0
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray improved his record to 3-0 in a 3-2 win over the Cleveland Indians on Monday. Gray allowed two runs (one earned) over six innings while striking out eight. The veteran right-hander is off to an excellent start this season, posting a 0.96 ERA, 0.70 WHIP, and 28 strikeouts over 18 2/3 innings of work. Gray is establishing himself as one of the better starting pitchers in the National League this season and should be treated as a no-brainer starting option in fantasy going forward. He will face the Milwaukee Brewers in his next start.
