Sonny Gray Strikes Out Eight In No-Decision
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray turned in a quality start in a 4-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Gray allowed three runs over six innings of work while striking out eight and walking four but had to settle for a no-decision. The veteran hurler now has a 0-3 record, 3.96 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and 47 strikeouts over 36 1/3 innings of work. Gray had his good stuff going against the Brewers on Saturday, posting an excellent 34% called strikes+whiffs rate. He will next take on the Chicago Cubs on Friday.
