Sonny Gray Wins Second Game
6 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray pitched well in the second game of a doubleheader against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. Gray held Pittsburgh to one run over six innings while striking out seven and walking two. He picked up the win to improve his record to 2-4 with a 3.54 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 64 strikeouts in 56 innings of work. The veteran hurler has allowed just four earned runs over his past three starts while winning two straight games. Gray is a solid back of the rotation fantasy asset who is worth using in most of his starts. He will take on the St. Louis Cardinals in his next start.
