6 years agoNew England Patriots rookie running back Sony Michel (ankle, leg) was carted to the locker room in Week 7 against the Bears. Michel had three carries for 24 yards and a 13-yard reception before leaving the game. It's a serious concern, as Michel has been the team's early-down back and has looked great over the last few weeks. If it's a serious injury, James White will benefit tremendously as the main running back for the team. Kenjon Barner would also see his role grow significantly if Michel is out past this week.
