3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Sony Michel could remain in a clear backup role for yet another week. "You have confidence that you can utilize him, if need be," explained head coach Sean McVay. "But Darrell Henderson, I thought, did a great job." This certainly does not sound like a vote of confidence in the former Patriots first-round pick, especially after he logged just one carry for two yards last week. McVay added, "You do want to be able to say, 'Hey, if we're able to sustain drives, be able to get some things off, could you expect to see Sony?' That's a possibility, but Darrell's a guy that's done a really nice job and I was really pleased with how he got stronger as the game went on."
