6 years agoNew England Patriots running back Sony Michel carried the ball 21 times for 133 yards, adding 13 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots 27-13 win over the Jets. Michel was the engine that made the Patriots offense run, consistently gashing the Jets and averaging 6.1 yards per carry. The Patriots have committed to running the football in recent weeks and Michel should benefit greatly moving forward if he can stay healthy. He did leave the field in the second half and appeared to be banged up but returned to the game and produced. The rookie running back will have a tough matchup next week against a fast, aggressive Vikings defense.--Joey C - RotoBaller
